MOTOR SPORT: Royston racing driver Kieren Clark will be competing at the Silverstone rounds of the popular Formula Renault UK series at the weekend.
Formula Renault UK is a support race to the British Touring Car Championship weekend, and huge crowds are expected with live TV coverage on ITV4.
Clark, 19, said: "We are on the national circuit, which is much shorter than the full GP circuit we did earlier in the year, but it will still be fun, with plenty of people coming along to watch.
"We've only just sorted out the finances for the last two races, Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
"Its been touch and go, but now I'm totally focused on this weekend, and looking to improve on my qualifying positions."
Qualifying will take place on Saturday at 9.30am and 2.30pm, with rounds 17 and 18 following on Sunday, at 9.30pm and 3.25pm.
