THE annual Chris Boote Memorial Tournament will be kicking off on Monday, May 10 to help raise much-needed funds for the Cambridge Cancer research Fund.
The tournament is in memory of Chris Boote, who died at the age of 24 from cancer.
The first football match will start at 6.30pm, at Fowlmere Sports Ground, and will be between Meldreth and Foxton.
The remaining matches in the first week are on Tuesday, May 11 in which Ambassadors will take on Fowlmere.
Barrington play Cambourne on Wednesday, May 12 and Fowlmere face Melbourn on Thursday, May 13.
Last year the tournament raised �6400, and hopefully there will be more this time around.
