GREAT Chishill seconds were plunged into a relegation dogfight after a heavy defeat at the hands of Foxton seconds in Division 3SB.

The hosts could manage only 91, with Joe Zygmunt top-scoring with 26.

This proved no problem for Foxton, and despite an early loss, Cooper's undefeated 42 saw the visitors home and sent Chishill into a four-way battle to avoid the two relegation spots.

- HATLEY travelled to Longstowe and were unfortunate not to come away with a victory at the weekend.

Batting first, Hatley's innings did not get off to a good start, with Randy Davenport going first ball.

However, Hatley set a total of 168 with Colin Bennet top scoring with 42.

Smokie Jakes and Brendon Larder added to the innings both making 26.

In reply, Longstowe reached the Hatley total with four overs to spare, Marsh top- scoring with a fine 89.
