ROYSTON Celtic Whites under-12s won their third tournament of the summer at the weekend.

On another very hot day Celtic fielded two very strong teams at the St Neots Priory Park 5-a-side tournament. This was probably the hardest out of all the tournaments this summer with some very strong teams from Cambridgeshire, but it was both Royston Celtic Whites who caught the eye.

Some of the football played from both teams was ahead of their years and they were a delight to watch. The attitude, effort and the sportsmanship showed by all the boys was a credit to everyone associated with the club.

It was no surprise that both teams ended up competing in the final and like every training session there was no player prepared to pull out of a tackle.

After the final all players congratulated each other after a very successful day for the team.
