Royston Celtic U12s ended St Neots’ 100 per cent start to the season with a 1-1 draw at Greneway School.
St Neots took the lead on 15 minutes with a shot-come-cross which managed to deceive Celtic’s ‘keeper and nestle in the top corner.
Celtic kept their heads up and made the most of a goalkeeping error to slot home and level the match 1-1.
In the second half the Celtic midfield fought hard and gave St Neots no time to settle on the ball but when they did manage to break through, Celtic’s defence held firm.
On the one occasion they managed to beat Man of the Match ‘keeper Houghton, O’Brien was there to clear the ball off the line.
