ROYSTON Chess Club retained the Herts one-day team championship following another success at St. Albans.
The tournament involved each team member playing four games against opponents from other Herts clubs, with the Royston quartet easily winning their games, scoring 131/2 points out of a possible 16,without losing a single game.
This completed another double for Royston, who had already retained the Herts League championship
