STEEPLE Morden made it three wins in a row with a victory at Harlton.

The home side batted first and lost an early wicket to a well taken catch by Duncan Warner off of the bowling of Connor Beeching, and Jack Tidey also claimed an early wicket before Lloyd (53) and Parsonage (47) compiled a 91 run partnership as Harlton made inroads into the Steeple bowling attack.

Beeching (10-1-66-4) and Tidey (10-0-29-3) returned to the attack leaving Harlton on 179-8 from their 40 overs.

In reply, Max Carlton and Tidey put together a partnership of 59 off of 10 overs to give Morden a bright start before Tidey was dismissed for 12.

Andy Wilson joined Carlton who was, by now, in full flow and they added 52 before Wilson went for six.

Two more wickets fell cheaply before Carlton fell for an innings of 118 which included six sixes and 14 fours.

At this point Morden where 20 runs from victory but two more wickets fell before Roger Huffer (5no) and Martin Osborne (9no) sealed victory with three wickets and two overs to spare.
