ROYSTON racer Kieren Clark posted his fourth top 10 finish, but missed out on capitalising from his best qualifying position of the season, when a broken front wing caused handling problems.

On Saturday a lightning start saw Clark climb two places, with his Apotex Scorpio car setting about pressurising Ryuji Yamamoto, and racing to a creditable 10th place.

The Sunday morning round saw Clark start in his best grid position this season in 11th. But he was seemingly unable to make any headway, and finished 15th.

Round 13, run on Sunday afternoon, saw Clark start 15th, and after a hard race, finish where he began.

The next rounds of the Formula Renault UK championship are at Cheshire's Oulton Park on July 26-27. For more information contact info@3ksracing.co.uk
