Under-11s Division Two
BASSINGBOURN began well against the undefeated Baldock Knights but were soon 1-0 down.
Centre forward John Dix worked hard to find a way through the well organised defence in search of the equaliser, and this eventually came courtesy of Matthew Tiffin after a fine run down the right wing by Jack Brough.
Baldock then extended their lead with two well taken goals.
A determined run by midfielder Jake Keeble saw Tiffin pull another goal back to make the half time score 3-2 and with James Ashton and Edward Sclare leading the way in midfield the second half started brightly for Bassingbourn.
