Bassingbourn Youth 0 Baldock Town Templars 6
Under-11s Division Two
ALTHOUGH Bassingbourn went down to defeat against high flying Baldock Templars things could have been so different.
With the score at 2-0 at half time Bourn began the second half brightly.
Good runs down the left wing by Dylan Lloyd and the right wing by James Sharp were not rewarded with the goal that the team deserved, and both Jake and Matt had good runs on goal but again we could not put our chances away.
The defence battled well with Edward Sclare putting in another good performance at sweeper while John Dix and James May shared the goalkeeping duties with both pulling off some good saves.

Bourn went 3-0 down and lost the services of Tom Harrington at left back and from then on the team became somewhat downhearted and rather collapsed resulting in a score that did not reflect its efforts.
