The first Cougars goal was scored by Sydney Arnold followed by a goal from Joe Babbage.
Cougars maintained their two-goal lead thanks to some fantastic goalkeeping by Reece Knapp who responded well to a few periods of intense pressure.
Matthew Share put the game beyond Broxbourne with a superb shot from the halfway line late in the second half and take the Blues into the next round.
