THE first matches of the New Year for Buntingford's Blues and Whites saw two great results for Cougars.
In the first game the Blues dominated the match with some excellent play and passing. First to score was Paris Caldicott Stevens, who also scored a second later in the match, while Joe Babbage continued his fine form and scored a further two excellent goals with goals from Frank Bown and Luke Garret making 6-0 for Cougars.
The second game saw the Cougars starting on the front foot and they took the early lead with a fine strike from Simon Keogh.
Royston equalised before Keogh struck again from a fine ball from Kye Blows to give his side a 2-1 victory.
