ROYSTON Town will be hoping a bizarre fixture pile-up will work to their advantage this evening (Tuesday), as their opponents in the Hertfordshire Senior Cup - Boreham Wood - have two first team matches on the same evening.
The Crows host Boreham Wood in the Hertfordshire Senior Cup, but at the same time the visiting club has another first team fixture to fulfil 41 miles away in Wealdstone where they are due to play in the Isthmian League Cup.
According to Sky Sports, manager Ian Allison is happy to play both matches and insists he is hoping to progress in both competitions by sending out two separate first team sides.
