THE Hertfordshire Lawn Tennis Association will be holding a series of talent identification sessions in the hope of unearthing a future Andy Murray.
Assessment days for both boys and girls will be set up, with the most promising children then being selected to attend a new coaching programme.
The sessions will take place at Gosling Sports Park Welwyn Garden City on July 9 and 12, from 4.30-6pm, and at Batchwood Tennis Centre St.Albans on July 16 and 19 from 4.30-6pm.
Children born between 2000 and 2003 are welcome to come along. Previous tennis experience is not required as qualified LTA coaches will assess athletic and natural tennis skills on the day.
Hertfordshire's club development officer Leo Tutt said: "Hopefully, we may even discover a future Wimbledon champion."
