AN incredible fight back saw Royston take all three points at Stortford.

Royston were rocked by a goal in the first 30 seconds of the game.

And a strong Stortford side continued to pressure Royston and went further ahead from a counter attack towards the end of the half.

Although managing to push forward, the visitors were unable to string together any passes.

But Royston looked much stronger in the second half and managed to dominate for short periods.

It was not long before man-of-the-match Andy Drage, flicked a short corner into the top corner of the Stortford goal to reduce the arrears.

And Royston got back on terms when Graham Mack finished at the back post.

The home side once again pushed forward, with some excellent passing moves, but Royston found a strength that was lacking from their first-half display.

The winner came from a counter attack, finished off by Nick Freeman.

Although tiring, Royston managed to hold their lead, to maintain their unbeaten run.

MUCH of the first half was played in midfield with very few shots at goal from either side.

Royston's defence held firm well, and as the first half came to a close, it was the visitors who looked like snatching a goal.

Shortly after the break, Royston took the lead with a well-taken goal by Lee Warner from open play.

Southgate soon got back on terms, and then snatched a late winner from a well-worked move.
