Bassingbourn U12s 7 Barmond U12s 0

Bassingbourn U12s made it three straight wins with a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Barmond.

Bassingbourn were unlucky not to go ahead when Antonio Ercole burst through on goal but the goalkeeper stood his ground and saved well. The first goal finally came courtesy of Michael Hicks. The second arrived after a series of attacks in which Bourn went close, Simon Fell followed up on a shot saved by the ‘keeper to coolly slot home his first goal for the club. Another first goal followed when a long-range shot by Jack Logan was spilled by the ‘keeper into his net. A brace from Cameron MacGillivray, keeping up his recent goal scoring record, meant that Bourn went into half time with a healthy five-goal lead.

With Bourn still dominant in the second half a Barmond defender put through his own goal before Max Logan wrapped it up with the seventh.
