THE Barkway Park June Medal which was held on the fifth and sixth of June resulted in a Division One win for Paul Sharp scoring a net 70. Second and third places were taken by Greg Smith and Ray Smith respectively, both of whom netted scores of 72.

In the same competition, Division Two was won by David Burr (net 71) with Andrew Rusbridge (net 74 and Mark Parfitt (net 75) coming second and third.

On June, 7, Bob Baker won the Barkway Seniors Monthly Monday stableford competition with a creditable 41 points. Bill Rodda (39) and Barry Deville (38) took second and third spots.

The Barker Trophy completion on June, 9 was won by Martin Devenish closely beating Alan Tokely on count back with very good scores of net 68. They were closely followed by Bill Ware (net 69)

Barkway Ladies competed for the Chapman Salver resulting in a victorious net 71 for Pauline Freeman. Ann Barnes was runner-up with a net score of 75.
