BANYERS, seeking their first league win of the season, saw off league leaders Sawston.
They took the lead when captain Mark Halfacre found Miah Osei-Yaw who slipped home a neat effort.
Sawston levelled 10 minutes later, but Steve Cooke restored Banyers' lead in the second half, and Kofi Osei and Osei-Yaw both went close.
It was left to top scorer Dave Ratcliffe to make it 3-1 with a low shot.
