Banyers 3 Teversham 2
BANYERS hosted Teversham in the Shelford Energy Cup and went through to round two with Asher Wilson scoring a double.
The home side were in front when captain Mark Halfacre pumped a long ball forward for Wilson to run on and round the keeper with ease.
And it was a lead that was doubled when player manager Darren Dyer's corner was headed home by Dave Ratcliffe.
In the second half Wilson notched his second and his side's third to effectively seal the win.
However, they were given a late scare when the visitors grabbed two late goals.
