Royston Town Youth Colts U11s defeated Knebworth Youth Black 4-2.
Royston got the better of the first half with two goals from Lewis Anderson and one from Matthew Bailey to go in three up at half-time. A fired up Knebworth had a good 10 minutes at the start of the second period bringing the score back to 3-2 but the Colts dug deep with better defending and Michael Baulk got Royston’s fourth to put the game beyond doubt and keep the Colts’ title challenge going.
Tom Turner put in a fantastic performance in defence and Man of the Match Callum Toovey was outstanding in midfield.
