Elsenham 2 Pin Green Juniors 1
Under-12s Division Four
AFTER six weeks out Elsenham were pleased to be back even though the pitch was a bit cut up and very sticky.
Despite the conditions both teams played some very good football.
Elsenham gradually began to get the upper hand as Charlie Lynch's shot was well saved by the Pin Green 'keeper and Ben Clark blasted over the bar.
The hosts grabbed the lead with a great move when Bertie Alabaster found Lynch and his clever pass set up Alex West to fire home.
Elsenham then went 2-0 up when West put Alabaster in and his shot sneaked into the corner.
Pin Green started the better in the second half and pulled a goal back with a cracking free kick giving Dan Keating in goal no chance.
From then on Elsenham had to work hard for the win and everyone played their part in this.
