Junior and mini teams at Royston Tennis Club are celebrating success as the Aegon Team Tennis Hertfordshire 2015 summer tournament draws to a close.
Red Ninjas first team of Joel Green, Aimee Large, Dominic Longland, Joshua McMurrough and Samuel Webb remained unbeaten for the entire U8 division campaign, winning all their games.
Harry Bolt, Jaedon Campbell, Lucian Crosby and Harry Lee claimed second place in the U12s league, winning two of their games and losing just one.
Eli Curtin, Benjamin Eather, Toby Pendrick, Alistair Ross and Samuel Webb of Red Ninjas 2nds, playing in the U8s, achieved three wins and one draw which was enough to see them cruise to a second league victory of the season, with only a couple of games remaining.
There were fourth-placed finishes for Orange Ninjas U9s (Stanley Ball, Aaron Godman, Thomas Hill and Matthew Liebenberg) and Green Ninjas U10s (William Daniels, Alexander Davidson, Oliver Dwyer, Tom Finch, Emma Harris, Rory Rees and Sam Rogers).
The U14 boys (Freddy Ball, Nathaniel Campbell, Thomas Cockman, Thomas Donnellan, Euan Rees, Matthew Reeves, Samuel Turner and Owen Wood) and the U16s (George French, Euan Rees and Edward Sclare) both took fifth.
