A football team from Melbourn are looking to delve into the summer transfer market in a big way - as they put out a call for new players.

Melbourn Dynamos U13s are actively recruiting for new players to join their squad.

The team are moving up to 11-a-side matches for next season and so need a bigger squad to cope with the demands of a full season.

Players need to be starting Year 8 in September and all will be considered.

A spokesman for the club, who play at Melbourn Village College, said: "As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to train every week as well as play competitive games against other local teams.

"At our club, we strive to create a fun and supportive environment for our players to learn and grow their skills.

"Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential on and off the field, developing important values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

"Our focus is on helping each player develop their skills while building lasting friendships with their team-mates.

"We have spaces in all positions across the squad, for everyone whether you have played in a team before or not.

"Why not come along to a taster session to see what it’s all about?"
