ROYSTON Town have further shown their ambition by putting talented forward Ryan Lockett on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The 22-year-old, who has had first team experience at Cambridge United, Bishops Stortford and Borehamwood within the last four years, put pen to paper on the deal after a superb run of matches in which he has scored six times in his last four games.
Manager Paul Attfield said: "Ryan in my view is extremely talented and getting more confident by the week.
"The fact he is young and has played at the highest level of the non-league pyramid system on a regular basis can only benefit the club and he will hopefully be a big asset in what I am trying to build at this club in the short and long term.
"I am delighted he has commited himself to the club for a good length of time.
