A LATE collapse saw Foxton concede three goals in the last 15 minutes as they fell to defeat in this top-of-the-table encounter.
The game started at a good pace with both sides looking to stamp their authority on the match but it was the visitors who took the lead when on 20 minutes a long clearance on the counter found Danny Hill who rounded a hesitant Jamie Chamberlain in the Foxton goal to calmly slot past two retreating defenders.
On 35 minutes Foxton deservedly drew level when Stuart Ogilvie was found in the box by Chris Aristo and was able to turn and smash the ball home from 10 yards.
Foxton started the second half as they finished the first, playing with a high tempo, and on 65 minutes they took the lead when Adam Fields poked home after Ogilvie had seen his shot well saved.
Foxton thought they had made it 3-1, but Fields saw his shot disallowed for offside, and to make matters worse Wratting equalised from a goalmouth scramble, went ahead with a flick on following a corner and then hammered their win home with a late break to make it 4-2.
Foxton manager Andy Cambridge said: "I thought maybe we were a bit unlucky to lose, but we made some basic errors in the last 15 minutes and they had a massive impact on the final result.
"I too must take some of the blame as in hindsight I probably made some wrong tactical decisions which didn't help."
Foxton: J Chamberlain, D Chamberlain, Webber, Ranner, Margiotta, Davenport, Aristo, Ogilvie, Tokley, Fields, Hoggarth. Subs: Lawrence, Swinton, Manners.
