ROYSTON TOWN take on Stotfold at Garden Walk tomorrow (Saturday) hoping to win their third match on the trot.

Confidence is high in the Crows camp after last weekend’s 1-0 win over second-placed Tring Athletic before overcoming Cockfosters 6-2 in Tuesday night’s Floodlit Cup tie.

Bobby Dance is expected to start the match after he bagged four goals in midweek while new signing John McGrandles could make his second appearance at centre half after impressing on his debut against Cockfosters.

Fellow new-boy Martin Standen will sit this one out after being sent off against Tring last week but apart from that Paul Attfield should have a near full-strength side at his disposal.

Opponents Stotfold come into the match having lost their last two matches, including a 2-1 defeat to leaders Chalfont St Peter.

The Eagles haven’t exactly enjoyed the best season to date with only six wins so far and the outcome could well depend on which Royston team turns up as the Crows have often found consistency hard to come by this term.

The Crows won 1-0 when the two teams met at the beginning of October courtesy of a Josh Bronti strike.
