ROYSTON Swimming Club hope to have a full-strength squad for the first time this season when they complete their Hertfordshire Major League campaign, on Saturday. The first meet was cancelled after a member of the public died in the pool the day before the gala. Half of Royston's squad pulled out of the second meeting after being struck down by a flu bug. But coach Tricia Dear said the team should be at full strength for the third and final division three round. - Buntingford Swimming Club will compete in the British National Biathlon Championships for the first time this year. Three girls - Christina Branch and Jessica and Eleanor Earp - will race in the under-17 event at the Eastern Region Qualifying contest at Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire, on Sunday. The club organise an annual triathlon and coaches hope that more youngsters will develop an interest in multi-event races.
