ROYSTON'S 100 per cent home record well and truly ended on Saturday, as Hatfield finished the match deserved winners.
Depleted Crows never really got going and their usual free flowing game seemed to have disappeared.
And when chances did arrive, the home side's poor finishing and wastefulness in front of goal cost them the points.
Royston lost the influential Matt Cookson minutes before half time, and never looked like taking anything from the game.
Minutes into the second half, the visitors opened the scoring, beating Royston's offside trap before adding a second moments later as a result of a defensive mix-up.
And just when Royston were looking to restore some home pride, Hatfield struck on the counter and ended the hosts' chances with a third.
