ROYSTON swimming coach Tricia Dear believes that a new generation of talented young swimmers will brighten the club's summer campaign.
She said: "A clutch of fledglings - including several nine-year-olds - will bear the standard as Royston compete in the 2008 Hertfordshire Peanuts League.
"Christy Stubbs led the charge with a win in the boys' butterfly in the opening round earlier this month, as Royston began the season with an overall third place.
"It should be a good year."
And Dear expects a wave of other novices, including Tom Harrington, Joe Walsh, Scott Batchelor, Simon Fell and Abbie Southby, Leah Parcell, Tilly Thompson, and Chloe Balcombe to follow in Stubbs' wake during the second and third rounds of the competition.
