IN Crow Nostalgia this week we have discovered pictures of churches from yesteryear.

One is of Royston Parish Church, which can be distinguished by its tower although the glasshouse against the building has since disappeared.

The other picture is Royston Methodist Church in Queens Road.

Both are still recognisable today although some of the detail around the buildings has disappeared.

We are not sure, however, when either picture was taken, although the reproduction seems to indicate that they were photographed around the same time.
