I am in complete agreement with Mrs Brett (Crow 22/01) regarding our very sad High Street in Royston.

The pigeon droppings are not only unsightly, they are a hazard when the pavements are wet, making them like a skating rink.

I helped a lady up a couple of weeks ago who had slipped over on them.

Fortunately she was unhurt, just shaken.

Also I feel that surely it must be a health hazard as well, with it being carried into shops on people's shoes.

Can something be done about it?
