New volunteers ready to start with charity

NEW volunteers will be supporting families in Crow Country after completing their training with a charity. The women have been trained by Home-Start, who help young and vulnerable families in Royston and the surrounding villages. They picked up their cert

NEW volunteers will be supporting families in Crow Country after completing their training with a charity.

The women have been trained by Home-Start, who help young and vulnerable families in Royston and the surrounding villages.

They picked up their certificates at a lunch held at Bassingbourn Barracks.

Anne Benson, scheme manager for Home-Start Royston and South Cambridgeshire said: "We have 12 new volunteers who have undertaken a 10 session course to become volunteers for Home-Start."
