PUPILS at Chrishall Primary school acquired a taste for foreign fare and served up some tasty treats for parents.

The Year 1 children were taking part in a "limbering up" programme in February 1991, which saw them learn the secrets of Italian food, and produce luscious pizzas.

They continued to learn about food from different parts of the world throughout the term, and at the end of the year made a multi-cultural meal for parents.
