It's no wonder English football fans have a reputation abroad, when some players themselves are not behaving properly.

Wayne Rooney allegedly reacted angrily towards a fan after the 2-0 defeat in Croatia last week.

The fan's behaviour may have appalled the England players, but footballers are just as bad to act in such a way. They should set an example.

Footballers who have let their emotions get the better of them include Eric Cantona, who jumped into the crowd and kicked a fan, and Joey Barton, who dropped his shorts at the end of a recent game.
