I SHOULD like to comment on car parking charges and possible higher costs. First, Royston is a small town so there is a limit to the amount of people who will pay to park. Second, how come some towns such as Ely, Wisbech and Newmarket have free parking? T

I SHOULD like to comment on car parking charges and possible higher costs. First, Royston is a small town so there is a limit to the amount of people who will pay to park. Second, how come some towns such as Ely, Wisbech and Newmarket have free parking? Third, the disgusting toilets hardly encourage anyone to stay in the town for long. May I suggest that district and town councils visit Saffron Walden and Bury St Edmunds town centres to see how toilets should be. MG MOUSLEY Orchard Road Melbourn
