MAY I, through The Crow, thank everyone who contributed to making my recent charity Golf Day such a success?

The event took place at Barkway Park Golf Club and raised more than £2,000 for my two charities: the Royston Speakout Stroke Club and the Lewin Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit at Addenbrooke's hospital.

My special thanks go to everyone at Barkway Park Golf Club for being such excellent hosts, Tony Hunter and Fiona Hill for all their help in organising the day and the following organisations and individuals for their donations, sponsorship, prizes and team entries.

Cllr PETER LILL

Mayor of Royston
