Regarding Matthew Gooding personal viewpoint on the British National Party (Crow June 11), maybe people are voting for the BNP not just because our three main parties have their snouts in the trough and us tax-payers have been funding their life styles.

It could also be the fact that this is a small island and much of our green and pleasant land will be covered in concrete and houses to cater for the immigrants turning up on our doorstep if the said parties have their way.

Would I be given a home and money if I decided to go and live in one of the other European countries? I doubt it very much. Also you should consider the fact that only one in six school leavers this summer will find a job, and the summer holiday jobs our kids used to do are not there anymore because of, need I even say it?

Our wildlife is disappearing because of global warming and if that's not enough the people were are allowing to come to our country are plundering our waterways, ie netting our rivers and lakes and taking all they catch for the table. People may not believe this but it is a fact. As a keen angler I have witnessed what is happening to our waterways.

Getting back to the BNP, they believe in British jobs for British people, and I'm all for that.

This letter probably won't get published as The Crow has to be seen as "politically correct".
