TRAKSA (Therfield, Royston and Kelshall Sports Association) has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Therfield Recreation Ground. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.

The proposed works are: To refurbish and extend the existing Sports Pavilion/Changing Rooms. The extension will add 31 sq metres to the current size of the building, extending the overall size to 114sq metres.

The works will be located adjacent to the existing Sports Pavilion/changing rooms at Therfield Recreation Ground SG8 9QG.

A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at The Cottage, 3a Green Drift, Royston SG8 5DB during normal office hours until 28 February 2022.
