We need to be prepared for severe weather driven by high winds across Comet country over the next few days, according to the Met Office.
There is a yellow weather warning in place for tomorrow, Wednesday, from midnight to 10pm.
The forecast states there will be strong and – at times gusty – winds expected through much of the day, and there is a small chance of injuries and danger to life, as well as minor property damage, from flying debris.
It adds there might be transport delays, route and bridge closures, cancellations to public transport, and possible disruption to power and other services.
