ROYSTON based company PRG Powerhouse held a World Cup art competition for children. More than 30 youngsters took part, each colouring in a football poster. The electrical retailer in Angel Pavement ran the company over two weeks.

Manager Gill Smith said: "The competition was well received. The designs were all very good and the winning posters were great."

The winners of the competition were Kaitlin Saward, seven, and Jordan Hallett, nine, both of Royston. They won goody bags supplied by World Cup sponsors Phillips, Toshiba, and Sony.
