The women’s section of the Royston Royal British Legion will close on August 15.
Susan Titmuss, who has been chairman of the women’s section for five years, said the decision was regrettable, but due to age and health issues it is too much to manage, and nobody has come forward to take over. The women’s section has been going for more than 60 years.
