A WOMAN sustained head injuries in a road accident at Barkway on Saturday.
The East of England Ambulance service were called to the scene, on B1368 in the village, at 8.44pm on Saturday after reports that a car had overturned.
It is thought the car had been in collision with a bridge, no other vehicles were involved.
Ambulance crews from Royston and Buntingford attended the incident.

Gary Sanderson, spokesman for the ambulance service, said: "A woman who we believe to be in her 20s was taken to Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge with a head injury.
