A woman in her 20s was detained by officers under the Mental Health Act and has been taken to a place of safety after an incident on a train.

Police were called to Shepreth station on Tuesday shortly after 10.30am to a report of an assault on board a train.

Officers from Cambridgeshire police attended and the train was held at Shepreth, but no victims of assault were identified.
