An inspirational teaching duo at a Melbourn swimming club won an award for their dedication to the sport and their good work for charity.
The South Cambs Community Award wellbeing accolade has been presented to the McSplash Swimming Club in Melbourn – where Jenny Brackley and Alison Hubbard have been teaching children to swim for more than 30 years.
They inspire children and parents, both through teaching and their charity work, raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Parent Sophie Cotton said: “Under superb instruction, children go to the club on a Friday evening tired from a week at school and then come away re-energised, refreshed and ready to start the weekend.”
