ROYSTON went down 5-2 to Austen Arrowheads at the weekend but the weather and wind played a major factor in the result.
Having lost the toss, Royston had a slight wind in their favour in the first half and goals from Sam Chamberlain and Liam Price put town 2-0 up at half time.
However, Royston could not hold the attacks of the home side in the second half and were finally beaten 5 2.
Man-of-the-match was Josh Joyce playing his first game at centre back.
The team played very well with good performances from Reece Richmond, Dillon Whale and a good second half performance from Ben Robson.
