BARRINGTON Primary School has been given a facelift thanks to the work of a former pupil who landscaped its garden. The garden, which was designed and built by Ben Tookey, of Brownie Points landscaping company, took 10 days to complete. And to enable the project to go ahead, Country Homes and Gardens, near Royston, donated the materials. The school now has a paved area with a chequerboard patio for games. Headteacher Hannah Scheilling said: "The company has revitalised what used to be a dead space and our intention is to use the space as an outdoor work space for classes. "The area had not been used in any productive form so the children are thrilled.
