Volunteering groups in Cambridgeshire are being put forward for awards to recognise the work they do.

What’s more, groups put forward for the Valuing Volunteers Award will be nominated by their very own volunteers.

Only volunteers can nominate, with entries needing to be submitted by Monday, July 13.

Six shortlisted organisations will then be invited to the special event in August where they have the chance of winning an award presented by Cambridgeshire’s high sheriff.
