Have your say on plans to support adults with learning disabilities as part of a major public consultation.

Hertfordshire County Council and NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups have revealed their detailed ambitions to help those with learning disabilities between 2019-2024.

The health-focused proposals aim to provide people with a Learning Disability Annual Health Check and ensure individuals with learning disabilities are on the GP Learning Disabilities register.

Colette Wyatt-Lowe, cabinet member for adult care and health, said:“This strategy affects people in Hertfordshire who have a learning disability, and their families, carers and professionals who support them.

“We encourage anyone with experience of learning disabilities or an interest in these services provided for people in the county, to please get involved.

“We will be sure to take on board the views of our service users during this consultation process and before making any decisions.”
