THE long awaited trial bus service serving the Mordens will commence on March 2.
Cllr Linda Oliver, county councillor for the Mordens, said that barring any last minute problems, the six-month trial would begin next month.
She said: "Initially, it's only a trial, so we need as many people to get on board as possible."
The trial will see the route of the 127 bus between Royston and Ashwell altered so that it stops in the Mordens, and will allow passengers to connect to services to Hitchin and Letchworth.
