THE Crow country big cat has been spotted in Melbourn.
We reported a spate of sightings of the beast, identified by experts as a black leopard, earlier this year in the Ashwell and Steeple Morden area.
Now it has re-emerged in South Cambridgeshire.
Elizabeth Wherrell saw the animal as she was making her way towards Meldreth Station at 5.45am last Thursday.
She said: "It was just walking down the road towards me. We both stared at each other for a minute, then it jumped up a bank and I knew it was big cat.
"I was a bit scared so headed back the way I came."
